About Me

I am currently a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. From 2019 to 2021, I served as a Senior Research Scientist at Huawei Noah's Ark Lab. I received my PhD degree in 2019, from the School of Vehicle and Mobility, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.

My research interests lie at the intersection of machine mobility and trustworthy AI, spanning the entire spectrum from models and algorithms to applications in transportation systems (ITS), autonomous vehicles, and robotics, in which I have contributed over 50 papers and hold 8 granted patents.

My vision is to build trustworthy machine intelligence and systems capable of ensuring robustness, safety, controllability, and generalization in safety-critical tasks or complex and uncertain environments, with a special focus on applied research in autonomous mobility, unlocking new capabilities in real-world settings. This potentially involves formulating adversarial conditions, developing certifiable guarantees, considering value alignment, generating diverse data, and designing system architectures. Since I dive into the fundamental principles of trustworthy machine intelligence and autonomous mobility, the insights gained have the potential to create a broad impact, such as applications in areas like ITS, autonomous vehicles, humanoid robots, intelligent logistics, and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
