About Me
I am currently a UESTC100 Young Professor at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. Previously, I was a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and served as a Senior Research Scientist at Huawei Noah's Ark Lab from 2019 to 2021. I earned my Ph.D. in 2019 from the School of Vehicle and Mobility at Tsinghua University. My research interests lie at the intersection of autonomous mobility and trustworthy AI, spanning the entire spectrum from algorithms and models to applications in intelligent transportation systems (ITS), autonomous vehicles, and robotics, in which I have contributed over 50 papers and hold 8 granted patents. I serve as a reviewer for over 50 journals and conferences.
My vision is to build trustworthy machine intelligence and mobility systems capable of ensuring safety, robustness, controllability, and generalization in safety-critical tasks or complex and uncertain environments, with a special focus on research in Trustworthy Autonomous Mobility, unlocking new capabilities in real-world settings. This potentially involves formulating adversarial conditions, designing certifiable guarantees, considering value alignment, generating diverse data, and developing system architectures. Since I dive into the fundamental principles of machine intelligence and autonomous mobility, the insights gained have the potential to create a broad impact, such as applications in areas like ITS, robotics, autonomous vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
